TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in programs at Josiah Kicks Academy ("JKA") or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Membership & Enrollment

Membership at JKA is subject to availability and approval. All memberships are personal and non-transferable. JKA reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership at its discretion if a member violates academy rules or conducts themselves in a manner deemed harmful to other members or staff.

3. Payments & Fees

• All membership fees are due as per the agreed payment schedule.
• Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
• JKA reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.
• Returned or declined payments may be subject to additional fees.

4. Cancellation Policy

Members wishing to cancel their membership must provide written notice to JKA at least 30 days in advance. Cancellations mid-term do not entitle the member to a refund of prepaid fees unless a medical or family emergency is documented and approved by JKA management.

5. Waiver of Liability

Participation in martial arts involves physical activity and inherent risk of injury. By enrolling, members (or their parent/guardian) acknowledge these risks and agree that JKA, its coaches, and staff are not liable for injuries sustained during training, provided reasonable safety standards are followed. A separate liability waiver will be required at enrollment.

6. Code of Conduct

All members are expected to:

• Treat coaches, staff, and fellow students with respect.
• Arrive on time and in appropriate training attire.
• Follow all instructions given by coaches.
• Refrain from bullying, harassment, or aggressive behavior outside of supervised training.
• Uphold the R.I.S.E. values: Respect, Integrity, Spirit, and Effort.

Violations of the code of conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

7. Schedule Changes

JKA reserves the right to modify class schedules, instructors, and locations with reasonable notice. No refunds or credits will be issued for schedule adjustments.

8. Photography & Media Consent

By participating in JKA programs, you grant JKA permission to use photographs and videos taken during classes and events for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media. You may opt out by notifying us in writing.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
